yelling at ceiling fans~

okay, so, I go to the bathroom, turn on the light, and the bulb busts, resulting in no light. no big deal, right? I decide to go get a candle from my bedroom. in the hallway, I flick the light switch. out goes light number two. I get a little freaked out, run to my room, flip the switch, and bulb number three goes out. I go ape shit crazy, run to the kitchen, trying to find some light like I'm a kid afraid of the dark (which I guess I just proved to be true). I sit in the kitchen with the light on, rocking back and forth, making noises when I breathe air out, for at least an hour, staring into the other room, looking at the wall where the shadow meets the light in a straight line, challenging the darkness to come steal my last lightbulb. (we'll skip the part about me going outside and running back in scared...) I decide I'll take the kitchen lightbulb and use it to replace the one in my room. I'm then convinced the ceiling fan in the kitchen heard me, because I start hearing it make this hum noise, so I think the ceiling fan is irritated at me for wanting to take its working light bulb, which pisses me off, so I yell at it to shut up, flip the switch to it off, steal the light bulb, and continue on to change the one in my bedroom, while whimpering, paranoid, that something's going to eat me while the lights are out.
